a verbal failure

it just hit me right now how sad it is to see my classmates smoke and drink.

i mean it's not like i saw it in person or anything, i just saw pictures of them drinking and smoking.i thought it would be ok.you know, you not getting affected or anything,but then it hits you hard.it makes you realize how you don't really want to see them like that.how you just want to see the image that they let you see and not what they are when you're not there.you want to see them as credible and innocent as possible.

i know that drinking and smoking doesn't affect a person's attitude towards other people, if they're nice they're nice if they aren't they aren't and drinking doesn't have anything to do with that.but then that's the thing,alcohol and nicotine tampers with that credibility.it makes a person seem brash and irresponsible.it doesn't make them look like them. :|
